If I Were You, ROX
Pride, Built In
Emirati elders and engineers shape the character of a car built here: the proposed ROX سنع Edition.

Built here. Brought up here.
I’d invite a group of Emirati elders to teach a car how to behave. If a car is going to carry “Made in the Emirates,” I’d want something of the country’s character built into it. The starting point is السنع: the teachings passed between generations about how we welcome people, respect their privacy, listen and show consideration.
The elders teach. The engineers listen.
On Union Day, I’d invite people to share a teaching they grew up with and nominate an Emirati elder who helped them understand it. The selected group would sit with ROX’s engineers. The elders share their stories. The engineers listen, take notes and develop how those teachings could shape the car’s interface, interactions and character. Then they bring the work back to the group to test and improve together.
ROX سنع Edition
That collaboration would build the proposed ROX سنع Edition. A character shaped with people who have lived these values and passed them on. Something an owner could experience every day.
So السنع can travel further.
I’d then propose a partnership for ROX to supply a fleet of the edition to UAE diplomatic missions and delegations abroad. A car representing the country through how it treats the people travelling in it. ROX. Pride, Built In. Proud on December 2nd. And December 3rd.
Which teaching should a car learn?
If you haven’t read about السنع الإماراتي, start with «السنع» by Abdullah Hamdan bin Dalmook, published by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center. Give it a read. Which teaching do you think a car should learn?
Want to make it happen?
A starting point for a conversation.
